A piece of Mahón's history: stately building in the historic center
In one of the most emblematic locations in Mahón's historic center, facing the Town Hall and the Church of Santa María, lies this stately building of approximately 650 m², linked to the city's history and the ancient noble families who inhabited its center.
The building preserves much of its original architecture, with elements of such historical and architectural value that some are part of the city's protected heritage. Inside, we find old noble halls, high ceilings, stuccoed walls, fireplaces, wooden beams, original carpentry, hydraulic flooring, and mosaics, as well as polychrome stained glass windows that maintain the character of the era. At the center of the house, a large staircase bathed in natural light connects the different levels and is one of its most representative features.
It also features an ancient cistern, a terrace on the top floor, and a large stone basement distributed in various vaulted rooms.
Restoring this building also means bringing back to life a part of Mahón's history, preserving the elements that give it its character and adapting it to a new chapter. It can become an elegant family residence right in the historic center or accommodate other projects. In any case, it is a property designed for those who truly value its history, architecture, and the privilege of preserving them.
