An island with ecological independence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At a time when much of Spain was affected by a massive power outage, <strong>Menorca remained standing, illuminated and calm<\/strong>.<br \/>\nOnce again, our island has shown that its commitment to self-sufficiency and sustainability is not just a statement of intent, but a tangible reality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Menorca has its own local energy production<\/strong>, thanks to the Mah\u00f3n Thermal Power Plant and a growing network of solar and renewable installations that are gaining more prominence in the energy supply year after year.<br \/>\nIn addition, it is connected to Mallorca via an underwater cable, strengthening its supply without relying solely on the mainland grid.<\/p>\n<p>But what truly sets Menorca apart is its <strong>vision for the future<\/strong>: an island firmly committed to <strong>clean and renewable sources<\/strong>, reducing its ecological footprint and increasing its resilience in the face of adverse situations.<\/p>\n<p>While other regions were left in the dark, <strong>Menorca shone<\/strong>.
