The \u201cMenorca phase\u201d became an optimistic way to describe that shared hope.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t want to say it too loudly, touch wood and cross my fingers, but it seems that the Grim Reaper has decided to pass by our beloved island.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Menorca has maintained <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menorca.info\/menorca\/local\/2020\/05\/20\/687009\/trece-dias-nuevos-infectados-coronavirus.html\">13 consecutive days without any new Covid-19 infection<\/a>. Great news, although we still have to be very careful, not to remove our face mask in public places and to be vigilant with a quick glance out of the corner of your eye.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While among<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Autonomous_communities_of_Spain\"> the provinces<\/a> of the country there is a competition to pass through the phases, almost as if it were a board game. The communities <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dice\">shake their cups and roll the dice<\/a> in turns to see if luck will smile on them and allow them to pass a square or a half square (the latter being a kick from participants who are sore losers) and some may even end up on the prison square and not be able to make a throw&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, the island of Menorca, apart from having already reached the coveted Stage 2 phase and looking forward to Stage 3, when this game is over, will move to a private room (with plush carpet and free vintage wines) where we will continue to play in a much more exclusive game.
